As our company name suggests, the installation of concrete reinforcing (rebar, mesh, etc.) has been the mainstay of Interstate Reinforcing's work since our founding in 1997.  We have successfully completed hundreds of projects extending throughout nearly every region of Upstate New York.  Our projects include very elaborate installations in the heavy/highway, building, industrial, commercial, military, environmental and food processing sectors.  (Please visit our "Portfolio" site to view photos of some of our more challenging installations.)  Over the years Interstate has experienced continual growth.  Our client list includes a group of the most reputable heavy/highway, paving, site and building contractors in the Upstate New York area.  We strive to provide these contractors with competitive pricing and strong performance.  On public projects, Interstate Reinforcing's status as a certified DBE/MBE company has also helped many of these contractors meet mandated minority business participation goals.  Often our clients prefer to have Interstate's work include both the furnishing and the installation of reinforcing.  To that end, Interstate has established strong relationships with many of the industry's most reputable and capable rebar fabricators.  These relationships have allowed Interstate to further offer our clients competitive pricing and timely performance.

In addition to serving our many valued clients, Interstate ironworkers are also available to service the concrete division.  Having our company perform a project's concrete work and also its reinforcing work has offered many benefits to our clients. The ideal situation on nearly every construction project is to have a single contractor responsible to perform both the concrete work and the related reinforcing work.  With the obvious benefits of efficiency and coordinated effort, it is surprising how often that this doesn’t occur.  On Interstate concrete projects, our direct involvement in the rebar procurement  and installation process allows us to minimize delays. Put simply, the rebar arrives faster and is installed quicker allowing concrete work to begin sooner.  Interstate’s clients are able to realize cost savings and schedule benefits. 

Interstate is capable of performing a wide range of cast-in-place concrete projects.  Building foundations, retaining walls, heavy/highway, site concrete, tanks, slabs, water/wastewater treatment, parking structures, equipment foundations, pile caps/grade beams, etc. are all within Interstate’s field of expertise.  We strive to perform all of our concrete work safer, better, and more economically than others.  Every project has the personal attention of Interstate’s owner.  By working proactively through issues and committing our resources, we are able to meet and often exceed the demands of aggressive project schedules.
